What Most Patients Do Not Realize
The incision location matters more than most surgeons admit.
Patients ask about implant size and forget to ask where the incision goes. An inframammary incision leaves a scar on the breast crease. My Mira Mist technique uses the armpit, so there is nothing on the breast itself. Not every patient is a candidate, but many are, and most are never offered the option.
A tummy tuck and a Mira Corsetplasty are not the same procedure.
A standard tummy tuck removes skin and tightens the rectus muscles. My extended technique also addresses the deeper fascial layer and the lateral abdominal wall. Patients who come in disappointed with a prior tummy tuck are almost always disappointed because they got a standard procedure when they needed more.
Your recovery depends on your preparation, not just your procedure.
Your recovery starts 10 days before surgery. Sleep, nutrition, stopping certain supplements, all of it matters. Patients who ignore pre-op instructions consistently have rougher recoveries. It is not complicated. It just requires follow-through.
Cheaper quotes usually mean something is being cut.
I see patients who shopped price first and came back wanting revisions. The revision costs more than the original surgery would have if they had chosen based on experience instead of cost. Step 2: Your Consultation. I sit with you. We talk about what you want and whether it is achievable. I show you before-and-after photos of my actual patients. I explain what the procedure involves, what recovery looks like, and what results are realistic for your body specifically.
Step 3: Pre-Op Preparation. You receive detailed written instructions covering medications to stop, what to eat, and what to arrange at home. My team is reachable by phone and text during this period.
Step 4: Surgery. Performed at our accredited surgical facility. I do the operation. You go home the same day.
