What Most Patients Do Not Realize
The incision location is a bigger deal than most surgeons admit.
Patients ask about implant size and forget to ask about where the incision goes. An inframammary incision leaves a scar on the breast crease. My Mira Mist technique uses the armpit, so there is nothing on the breast itself. Not every patient is a candidate for it, but many are, and most are never offered the option.
A tummy tuck and a Mira Corsetplasty are not the same procedure.
A standard tummy tuck removes skin and tightens the rectus muscles. My extended technique also addresses the deeper fascial layer and the lateral abdominal wall. Patients who come in disappointed with a prior tummy tuck are often disappointed because they got a standard procedure when they needed more.

I tell every patient: your recovery starts 30 days before surgery. Sleep, nutrition, stopping certain supplements, all of it matters. Patients who ignore pre-op instructions consistently have rougher recoveries. It is not complicated. It just requires follow-through.

Recovery Timelines by Procedure
