Liquid Rhinoplasty Before and After Patient 2

This patient had a list. A deep nasal bridge, bumps along the mid nasal bone, asymmetry on the lateral nasal walls, and a droopy tip that he felt was too bulky for his face. He is a young man in his mid-20s from LA County who had been researching rhinoplasty for a while but did not want to commit to surgery.

I said to the patient, we cannot make the tip physically smaller with filler. Filler adds volume, it does not remove it. But what we can do is refine the tip and lift it so it looks smaller in proportion to the rest of the nose and face. That visual difference is real even though the tip itself is not reduced. I also told him that complete symmetry on the lateral nasal bones is not realistic. Faces are not perfectly symmetrical and promising that would be dishonest. What I could do was improve the balance between the two sides so the asymmetry is far less noticeable.

He decided to move forward with those realistic expectations, and that is when you get a result both the patient and I are happy with.

In the before photos, look at the profile. You can see the deep bridge and the hump along the mid nasal bone. The tip drops and the overall nose looks heavy relative to his other features. Now look at the after photos. The bridge is elevated and smooth. The hump is gone. The lateral walls are more even. The tip is lifted and more defined, which makes it appear smaller and more proportionate to his face. This is a young man who walked in frustrated with his nose and walked out looking like a slightly better version of himself. Not a different person. That is what good liquid rhinoplasty does.

The whole treatment took about 25minutes including the numbing time. No surgery, no general anesthesia, no recovery downtime.
