How Do You Know if Liquid Rhinoplasty Will Actually Work for Your Nose?
You look at real results. Not stock photos, not AI renderings, not the kind of before and after photos that look like they were taken with different lighting and a different camera angle. You look at actual patients who had the same concerns you have and you see what changed.
That is what this gallery is for. Every photo below is a real patient who came to Mira Aesthetic Cosmetic Surgery Center for a liquid rhinoplasty with me, Dr. Sid Mirrafati. These are unretouched photos taken in our office with consistent lighting before and after the procedure. I show the profile view, the front view, and in some cases the three-quarter angle so you can see exactly what changed and what stayed the same.

What You Are Seeing in These Before and After Photos
Liquid rhinoplasty is not surgery. There are no incisions, no bone reshaping, no general anesthesia. What I am doing in each of these cases is placing injectable dermal filler in very specific spots on the nose to change its shape from the outside.
The most common things I treat with liquid rhinoplasty are a bump on the bridge, a tip that drops when the patient smiles, mild asymmetry between the two sides, or a flat bridge that needs more height and definition. Each patient in this gallery came in with one or more of those concerns.
Here is something most practices will not tell you: liquid rhinoplasty can only add volume. It cannot make a nose smaller. If your main concern is that your nose is too wide or too big, filler is not the answer and I would rather tell you that upfront than waste your time and money. For patients who need structural reduction, I discuss surgical rhinoplasty as an alternative. Having both options under one roof at Mira Aesthetic means you are never being pushed toward a procedure just because that is all the practice offers.
The Fillers I Use and Why It Matters
Not every filler is appropriate for the nose. I use three depending on the patient's goals and how long they want results to last.
Restylane and similar hyaluronic acid fillers are what I use most often. They last about 9 to 12 months, they are reversible with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if anything needs adjustment, and they give a smooth, natural result. For a patient who wants to test the waters and see how they feel about a change before committing long term, hyaluronic acid is the right choice.
Radiesse is a calcium-based filler that lasts 12 to 18 months. It is firmer, which means it holds shape well on the bridge. I tend to use this for patients who know what they want and do not want to come back every year. The tradeoff is that Radiesse is not reversible like hyaluronic acid fillers.
Bellafill is the longest-lasting option. It stimulates your own collagen production and results can last several years. I reserve this for patients who have had liquid rhinoplasty before, are happy with the shape, and want to stop doing maintenance appointments. Bellafill is not something I recommend for a first-time patient because you want to make sure you love the result before locking it in.
Most med spas carry one filler, maybe two. I keep all three because the right filler depends on the patient, not on what happens to be in the supply closet.
Why Who Does Your Liquid Rhinoplasty Matters More Than You Think
The nose is one of the highest-risk areas on the face for filler injections. The blood supply to the nose connects to the blood supply to the eyes. A filler injection in the wrong plane or in the wrong location can cause vascular occlusion, which in the worst case can lead to skin death or vision problems. This is rare, but it is real, and the single biggest factor in preventing it is the injector's understanding of nasal anatomy.
I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. I have been performing cosmetic procedures for over 30 years. I have treated more than 50,000 patients. I operate on noses surgically, which means I know the layers of tissue, the location of every major blood vessel, and exactly how deep the filler needs to go. That is a different level of knowledge than what a weekend injection course provides.
I have had patients come to me after getting liquid rhinoplasty done at a med spa where the result was uneven, lumpy, or placed too superficially. In a few cases, the filler had migrated because it was injected in the wrong tissue layer. These are fixable problems, but they should not have happened in the first place. The photos in this gallery represent what liquid rhinoplasty looks like when it is done by someone who understands the nose as a complete anatomical structure, not just a surface to inject.
What to Expect During Your Liquid Rhinoplasty at Mira Aesthetic
The whole process takes about 15 to 20 minutes. I start by examining your nose and talking about what bothers you. Then I numb the area with a topical anesthetic. Once you are comfortable, I place the filler using a fine needle, checking the result from multiple angles as I go. You will be able to see changes in real time and give me feedback during the treatment.
There is no downtime. You leave the office looking like yourself with a better nose. Some patients have mild swelling or tenderness at the injection points for a day or two. Bruising is possible but uncommon when the injection is done properly. Most of my patients go back to work or their regular schedule the same day.
Results are immediate. What you see in the mirror when I hand it to you is what you are going to look like. Minor swelling settles within 48 hours, but the shape you see on the table is the shape you are keeping.
How to Read Before and After Photos the Right Way
When you look at these photos, pay attention to a few things. First, check that the lighting and angle are the same in the before and after shots. Ours are. Second, look at the areas that did not change. The forehead, the chin, the lips should all look the same. That tells you the photographer is being honest and the comparison is fair. Third, look at the specific area of concern. On a bridge bump case, trace the bridge line from the brow to the tip. Is it smooth? On a tip refinement case, look at what happens to the tip when the patient smiles. On an asymmetry case, compare the left and right sides.
These details are how you separate real results from marketing. Every patient in this gallery was photographed under the same conditions, and no images have been retouched or filtered.
